Social Care Institute for Excellence

SCIE is an independent not-for-profit social care charity working with a wide range of partners and people with lived experience, to improve adults and children's lives.

We are driven to promote the best available knowledge about what works, including highlighting productivity benefits from cutting-edge technology. From over twenty years’ experience, we bring a wealth of trusted expertise to work collaboratively to help transform care. Co-production with people with lived experience underpins and informs what we do, enabling us to recommend best practice.

We provide: • innovative SCIE Consultancy: as your not-for-profit partner, working with you to identify and implement improvements • expert SCIE Training: bespoke online or face to face learning and development including safeguarding, co-production and strengths-based approaches • extensive SCIE Resources: guidance and tools to support best practice, co-production and innovation • evidence-based SCIE Insights: research, evidence and policy insights to drive improvements and innovation.

Our digital innovation support for Bromley Council’s benefits include 30% targeted improvement in productivity across core operational processes, and our world-class customer recommendation score speaks for our staff's' trusted expertise.
