Channel 3 is a specialist digital health and social care consultancy who work with clients to deliver better lives and better care.
We work across the entire change journey, from the initial thinking, to delivery, sustainable change, and impact. We are technology agnostic and insist on taking a ‘people first’ approach to digital transformation.
In early 2021, NHSX announced that all sustainability and transformation partnership (STP) and integrated care system (ICS) organisations should endeavour to have a Minimal Viable Solution (MVS 1.0) shared care record (ShCR). Fast forward 18 months, and ShCR projects have emerged all over the country striving to fulfil this request, and unsurprisingly, facing similar challenges along the way. Channel 3 has worked with several systems and the Association of Directors of Adult Social Services (ADASS) regions to gather their ShCR views, experiences gained and aspirations for the future.
This report reflects the views of learning disability (LD) key stakeholders and those with lived experience, who have rich insight into how the sector supports people living with a learning disability today and how it needs to change for the better. There is a moral, social, equality, diversity, inclusivity and economic justification for a radical rethink in our national and local approaches to supporting people living with an LD.
A generational change coming to adult social care (707.93 KiB)
Adult social care (ASC) reform, in the guise of charging reform (CR) and fair cost of care (FCC), will have a significant impact on your council. The changes will be fundamental and will eventually impact all parts of your service and the provider market.
